Ko Horouta me Takitimu ngā waka

Rangiwaho marae is located at Tawatapu (Bartletts), about 30 km south of Gisborne on State Highway 2. Its principal hapū are Ngāti Rangiwaho, Ngāti Meke and Ngāti Waipapa of Ngāi Tāmanuhiri.  The marae connects ancestrally with the waka Horouta and Takitimu, the maunga Oraki, and the awa Tarakihinui.
